Excomulgado has partnered with the Universidad Chapingo and their Oaxaca campus laboratory to support their program to propagate agaves that are at risk of extinction. Our goal is to support Chapingo with donations to ramp up this program and ensure its success. We commit to Chapingo and their mission by donating one euro for every bottle sold.

Next to working with our maestros mezcaleros, we believe supporting their communities is as important. Therefore we are committing one euro for every bottle sold per mezcalero to a project that improves the lives of their communities.
End to End Local Production
Beyond our commitment to our maestros mezcaleros and the agave production we want to further support other Mexican communities. Therefore we have chosen a local producer of hand-made glass bottles and a local producer for our carton boxes.
As well as helping us support local entrepreneurs, this enables us to keep our carbon footprint low in comparison to sourcing bottles and cartons coming from abroad.
